Basic Pistol Course

Service Description

The Basics of Pistol Shooting course is a 1-Day, 8-hour, "learn to shoot" class but is also intended for ALL individuals regardless of previous shooting experience. The morning will consist of classroom instruction, followed by an afternoon session on the shooting range. This is an instructor-led course where you will receive direct instruction from an NRA-certified instructor from beginning to end. You will learn how to safely operate revolvers and semi-automatic pistols through hands on instruction. Students will receive a Basics of Pistol Shooting Handbook and a course completion certificate. The course covers topics such as selecting the correct type of ammunition for your firearm, maintenance, and handling common malfunctions. You will need a pistol and at least 150 rounds of ammunition for your firearm. Don't have a handgun? We have pistols you can rent for the day. Registration links will be provide below when class space is available. You will be contacted by the course instructor once you register and will be provided with additional information.
